How to play
AnyGuess is a two-player deduction game: a board of 24 faces, one secret card each, yes/no questions, and the win goes to whoever names the other's card first.
1. Open a room and set a theme
One of you creates a room and shares the six-character code or the invite link. The host types any theme — "Real Madrid players", "Roman emperors", "deep sea fish" — and the game builds a fresh deck of 24 real faces for it. Ready-made decks are one tap if you would rather start instantly.
2. Choose your secret card
The match opens on the whole deck with a clock running, and you both choose at once: pick the card you will be — the one they are trying to name — hidden from them as theirs is from you. Swap freely while the clock lasts; if it runs out before you settle, a card is dealt to you at random.
3. Take turns asking yes-or-no questions
Anything the other player can answer yes or no about their card: "are they Spanish?", "did they ever play in England?". They answer, and the answer stands on the record for both of you.
4. Rule out everyone the answer cannot fit
A no to "are they Spanish?" takes every Spaniard off the board. Press a face to knock its tile down; press it again if you knocked the wrong one down. Only you see your own board.
5. Name their card to win
When you are sure, guess. Right, and the match is yours. Wrong, and it is theirs — there is no second guess, so it is worth one more question.
Good to know
- Rematch replays the same deck, or tears it down for a brand-new theme.
- Reconnects are safe. Lose signal mid-match and your seat, your secret, and your eliminations are all waiting when you come back — even across a server update.
- Rate a card if a face does not belong to the theme; feedback improves future decks.
- Chat lives alongside the match and never affects the rules.
