Content Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-26.
AnyGuess turns any theme into a deck of 24 faces. Most themes are welcome. This page states, plainly, what is not — and what explicitly is.
Allowed
- Public figures, past and present: athletes, artists, scientists, politicians, historical rulers.
- Historical figures including villains. "Roman emperors" includes Caligula; "20th-century dictators" is a history quiz, not an endorsement. Depicting a person in a trivia deck is not glorification.
- Fictional characters, animals, plants, objects, places, foods — anything with a name and, ideally, a picture.
Refused
A theme, a deck, a card, or a chat message is refused or removed when it:
- sexualises anyone or is pornographic;
- targets people with hate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or similar;
- glorifies recent mass violence — perpetrators of recent atrocities presented as subjects to celebrate;
- is about private individuals — your coworkers, your ex, your neighbours, or anyone else who has not chosen public life. Building a deck of people you personally know, without their consent, is the fastest way to lose access;
- is about minors — children are not deck material, full stop.
How it is enforced
Themes are screened before a deck is built — first by fast deterministic rules, then by an AI classifier reading this very policy. A refused theme gets a readable reason, not a silent failure. Chat messages are filtered the same way, and every message can be reported in one tap.
When the public deck catalogue launches, published decks will pass the same gate plus a quality check, and any deck can be reported; enough independent reports hide a deck pending human review.
Age
AnyGuess is for players 13 and older.
